GKK Puppies
Currently the pricing for one of our Doberman puppies is $2500.
This pricing includes:
2 Combo Vaccinations
Every puppy receives a combo vaccination against 9 common deadly illneses including Parvo, Parainfluenza, Distemper, Lepto, and Adenovirus. Your puppy will need one additional vaccine at around 12 weeks of age to be fully vaccinated against these illnesses.
Microchip
Your puppy will come micro chipped with a Fi Nano chip that is preregistered to our kennel. We recommend new pet parents either keep us up to date with contact information for them so we can get a hold of you should your pet end up found and we are contacted OR install your own registered chip as the protocol for microchips is generally to contact the most recently registered chip first if more than one is found. We do not update the information to the new owners on our installed chip because it acts as a fail safe to prevent one of our dogs from ending up unclaimed. Our contact information will ALWAYS be updated to ensure we can be contacted. Our protocol when contacted about one of our dogs being found is to contact the owners using the contact information we have on hand. If we do not get a reply within 24 hours we will then mobile our network to get the dog back to us and continue to try to find the owners we have on file to reunite.
Ear Cropping
All of our puppies will have their ears cropped and posted unless it is specifically requested by a deposit holder that the puppy not be cropped. Posting of the ears will need to be continued for around 8 weeks after they come home to ensure they stand correctly. We are happy to assist with questions regarding posting of ears to ensure the best outcome for the puppy.
Tail Docking
ALL of our puppies will have their tails docked, this occurs within a few days of birth and we no longer offer the option to request a puppy not be docked even for deposit holders. If you are wanting to purchase an undocked Doberman we are happy to recommend other breeders who might accommodate your request. We do not accommodate requests to leave a puppy undocked.
Limited AKC Registration
All of our puppies are registered with the AKC at birth. They will go home with their AKC papers NOT an application. On the back of the AKC paperwork we will have filled out the transfer information. It is up to the purchaser to transfer the papers to their own name. Your puppy will have a registered name assigned by GuardianKin Kennels. You are able to change the registered name if desired, simply contact the kennel if the AKC says you need our permission to do so. We simply ask that the initials GKK or the word GuardianKin is included somewhere in the registered name but this is NOT a requirement.
Lifetime Emergency Boarding
All of our puppies come with a free 14 days boarding should an emergency situation occur including but not limited to hurricanes, damage from storms or fires, sudden major life event such as illness or death in the family, accident, or for any other emergency reason. This DOES NOT include free boarding for vacation travel.
Lifetime Return Policy
If for any reason you cannot keep your GuardianKin Doberman we will take them back. At any age or health situation we will always take one of our dogs back.
Longevity Guarantee
It is our pledge that we are breeding for the longevity of our breed, therefore, we offer a guarantee that your Doberman will live to at least 10 years of age or we will provide you a 50% discount on your next Doberman from us. This does not apply if the death is the result of an accident, injury, or failure of preventive treatment such as heartworms.
Congenital Defect Guarantee
We provide a 5 year guarantee on all congenital issues including hearing loss, vision loss, hip or joint issues not related to accidents or environment, spine issues, neurological issues, Thyroid issues, and heart issues. The dog does NOT need to be returned to the kennel.
Working Guarantee

In order for this guarantee to come into play at least 2 professionals must declare the dog unsuitable for the job, the decision must be made before the dog is 18 months of age, and the washout dog must be returned to the kennel. This guarantee does not apply if the dog washed out due to external issues such as injury, being attacked by another dog or person, abuse, or improper training techniques.
30 Days Complimentary Trupanion Insurance
All of our puppies go home with a Trupanion Go Home Day packet which allows you to easily sign your new puppy up for pet health insurance through Trupanion with no waiting periods. The first 30 days is included completely free, with no credit card information required. There is a $250 deductible and 90% coverage for all vet bills. What we expect from YOU (what our contract requires of you as the buyer):
Puppy/Dog Rehoming Forbidden
We do not allow buyers to rehome puppies or dogs purchased from our kennel with the exception of bona fide police or similar working K9 kennels where the dog is being retired and is being rehomed to its handler or a previous handler or other party chosen by the facility as an appropriate home. If the purchaser cannot keep their dog or puppy due to lifestyle change, death, illness, moving, or for any other reason the dog should be returned to the kennel. There are exceptions for rehoming the dog to a party that will also sign and abide by our contract. Such exceptions must be approved by us BEFORE the dog is rehomed. We will accept a dog back for any reason at any age in any condition. It is AGAINST our contract and shall have damages associated with violations of our contract to release a dog purchased from our kennel to a rescue, shelter, or third party who has NOT signed a contract with the kennel. We will ALWAYS strive to place the dog with a family member or friend chosen by the purchaser if at all possible but this person MUST sign our contract.
Yearly Vet Exam & Vaccinations REQUIRED
We require these in our contract and failing to do them will have penalties. It is the bare minimum of pet ownership to provide yearly exams and vaccinations to keep your dog healthy. We require that the vaccinations be administered by a licensed veterinarian and that you provide proof of a yearly exam and vaccinations to us once per year. The vaccines themselves are of course up to your vet and locale but the dog must be kept up to date on rabies and a combo vaccination including parvo. We also require a heartworm test at least once every 3 years.
Yearly Updates Required.
We love hearing about our puppies and dogs but we understand our clients can get busy. Therefore we only require an update with at least one photo of the dog once per year. However we encourage you to update us more frequently then that if you wish to. These updates help us keep up with our lines performance and health.
Obedience Training for Puppies Required
Purchasing a puppy from us comes with the requirement to have the puppy enrolled in a basic obedience course of your choosing by the age of 12 months. This program must teach the dog to sit, lay, stay, come, and to walk politely on a leash. Either a certificate of completion from an obedience school or video proof of the puppy preforming these commands is required by the age of 12 months of age.
Money Back for Altering or Titling
GuardianKin Kennels believes that altering your dog is an important way to curb any accidents and make an easier to train more content companion animal. Therefore we offer a $100 refund for all GuardianKin Kennel puppies are are fixed between the ages of 18-36 months of age. We do not promote or believe in early altering and should you alter your animal prior to 18 months of age we will not offer any refund. We also offer a $100 refund per sporting or performance title achieved by you with your GuardianKin Kennels Doberman up to $500. This offer only applies to Dobermans whose registered names display our GKK or GuardianKin within them. These two offers can be combined.
Breeding Rights
All puppies sold by our kennel go with limited AKC papers. This means that they are not able to be used for breeding additional AKC Dobermans. Unlike other kennels we do not require a hefty fee to be paid in order to change a Doberman bred by our kennel to a full registration. We prefer that you use that money on the animal itself to get the necessary testing and training to prove a dog has value as a breeding dog. We will happily submit the paperwork to have your dogs limited registration lifted to full registration if you meet ALL of the following requirements:
- The dog must be at least 15 months of age but not older than 5 years of age.
- You must sign an additional contract regarding breeding dogs. This contract will restrict you to 3 total litters with a female or 12 with a male. This contract also states no female dog shall be bred after the age of 5. It requires AKC registration on ALL puppies born of the litter thus meaning you cannot breed a GuardianKin Doberman to a non AKC Doberman or to another breed.
- You will need to submit proof that the dog’s heartworm preventive and vaccinations are all UTD.
- You will need to submit proof of a clear DNA for all tested Doberman related diseases.
- If your dog is NOT titled as CGC we will need a third party evaluation on the dog’s temperament.
And at least 4 of the following:
- OFA certification on Hips & Elbows
- Results of a 24 Holter Monitoring
- Blood test showing normal Thyroid
- Titling as a CGC
- Tilting either in AKC confirmation or sports
- Proof of the dog being used as a service dog, military, or police working dog.
The cost of upgrading your dog from limited to full registration is on the owner of the dog being upgraded. We will not cover any costs.
