Why do we use dragon terminology when referring to our dogs and litters on Facebook? Well simply put for 3 reasons:
- Facebook’s stupid AI run algorithm is very annoying and wishy washy. Even though we are a verified account that meets -all- of the requirements of their TOS/Community Standards to post about our dogs, litters, and puppies they often auto flag our posts and we have to appeal and send it to review. We always win these reviews but during the process our page gets hit with demonetization and other annoying drawbacks while we wait the 12-72 hours it takes for an appeal to be reviewed. By changing terminology a little this happens far less frequently.
- It confuses Karens. Lets face it 9 out of 10 people love seeing puppy photos and videos, dog updates, and so forth but there are a rabid group of psychoKarens who cannot understand that purebred dogs exist and are absolutely convinced that breeding is basically demon worshiping. To them every puppy we produce has put a bullet in the head of a dog in a shelter that clearly would have been adopted had that puppy not existed. Because that makes logical sense and is completely based in the realm of reality. These crazy people like to flag posts and pages and often create little groups on FB simply for the purposes of mob flagging posts and pages. To throw them off the trail a bit we make them really use their little brains to figure out what we are posting about.
- Its kinda fun. Lets be real young Dobermans are frequently compared to velociraptors but we thing that is an unfair comparison. Dinosaurs are cool and all, and the raptors are pretty smart but we think Dobermans are far more smart and loyal then your standard raptor.
