AKC Registration & Breeding Rights
All of our puppies are sold on limited AKC registration unless you’re an approved breeding home. We’re passionate about protecting this breed and ensuring that no GuardianKin puppy is ever viewed as a quick route to profit.
That said, we welcome and support aspiring ethical breeders! We offer mentorship and will happily upgrade to full registration down the line, at no extra cost, once you’ve met our outlined requirements and shown a strong commitment to the breed.
We Match You With the Right Puppy
GuardianKin puppies are placed based on temperament, drive, and suitability not just looks or who waddles over first. We spend countless hours with each litter and have over 15 years of experience working with our lines (and 20+ years working with dogs overall). You may not “pick” your puppy in the traditional sense, but you’ll get the one best suited to your goals, lifestyle, and experience. And trust us—when it’s the right fit, it feels like they picked you anyway.
Pick-Up Policy
We do not offer sight-unseen shipping or third-party transport. Every buyer must meet their puppy in person before taking them home. We’re happy to meet you at the Atlanta airport for an easy pickup, or we can personally deliver your puppy anywhere in the U.S. for a delivery fee.
We believe meeting your puppy face-to-face ensures a stronger bond—and helps us maintain the quality and safety of every placement.
Lifetime Return Commitment
GuardianKin Dobermans always have a place with us. If you can no longer care for your dog at any point in their life, they must be returned to us. We may consider approved transfers in specific cases (such as the passing of an owner), but all placements must be handled directly through us with a signed contract from the new party. This policy protects the dog from ending up in rescue, neglectful situations, or passed around between homes.

We’re so glad you’re considering adding a GuardianKin Doberman to your life! The first step in the process is to fill out our adoption questionnaire. This helps us determine if our program aligns with your goals and lifestyle, and whether we’re the right fit for each other.
This form is required before we can consider you for a puppy. It gives us valuable insight into your experience, expectations, living situation, and future plans for your dog information we use to match you with the right puppy when the time comes.
There is no fee to submit your application
We will contact you within 72 hours of receiving your form to discuss your answers
If approved, we’ll send over the contract and collect your deposit
To secure your spot on our waiting list, we require a $500 deposit, which is paid only after you’ve reviewed and signed the contract. This ensures clarity and commitment on both sides before money exchanges hands.
Once your contract is signed and deposit received, you’ll officially be placed on our waiting list. This guarantees your place in line for a future GuardianKin puppy.
We use your application to carefully match each puppy to the most suitable home, so you may not be offered every puppy we produce only the ones that best match your goals, lifestyle, and experience. If we feel a puppy isn’t the right fit, we’ll offer them to the next qualified family in line.
As a member of our waiting list, you’ll receive:
A monthly newsletter with updates, litter announcements, and training tips
First look notifications about new litters before we post publicly
Ongoing communication about your position in line and upcoming matches
You’ll move up the list as other families are matched with their puppies, and when the right one is ready you’ll be the first to know.
